Dear Mr. Steven G. Huter;
As I have mentioned that Telecomminication Facilities in our cities
are very limited the old Analog telephon Exchanges (of 1970 or 1980s),
where most of them are not rehabilitated yet.
It is True that our webpage is hosted in US and we use that host.
The TCP/IP Connection we provide for the Sattelite Telephone conectivity
thought a Server Outside of Afghanistan, because of lower connection
Our Email Server in Kabul (Capital City) provide 24 hour Email only
Conectivity to our local users through TCP/IP. But our server connect to Internet
through a dialup TCP/IP every 15 minutes. We could provide Online Internet, but we
can not afford Sattelite Bandwidth charges (costing about US$10,000 for 64k) because
most of our users are NGOs with limited budget.
I hope the information will help you.
