NSRC Staff and Volunteer Activities Around the World 2007

Where we were and what we did during 2007:
  • January 14-21: Hervey Allen taught and organized an ISP Services Workshop at the SANOG 9 event held in Colombo, Sri Lanka
  • February 14-17: Hervey Allen and Phil Regnauld helped to organize and teach a ccTLD Workshop held in Georgetown, Guyana
  • April 23-May 1: Hervey Allen, Steven Huter, Phil Regnauld and Dale Smith attended, taught and organized at the AfNOG 2007 and AfREN meetings in Abuja, Nigeria
  • May 15-16: Alain Aina helped to organize and teach an IXP Workshop in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast)
  • June 3-6: Hervey Allen and Steven Huter participated in some meetings and planning for future workshops and training projects planning during the NANOG 40 event held in Bellevue, WA, USA
  • June 14-18: Steven Huter joined Nancy Dotse and Ayitey Bulley of AfNOG to conduct the site visit for AfNOG 2008 at the Ecole Mohammadia d'Ingenieurs in Rabat, Morocco.
  • June 16-22: Hervey Allen and Joel Jaeggli helped to organize and teach at the PacNOG 3 Meeting in Rarotonga, Cook Islands
  • June 25-29: Steven Huter participated in some ccTLD meetings and planning for future regional workshops during the ICANN San Juan meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico
  • August 29-September 7: Hervey Allen and Phil Regnauld planned and taught a Network Operations and Management Workshop at the SANOG 10 event held in New Delhi, India
  • October 29-November 2: Hervey Allen and Steven Huter participated in some ccTLD meetings and planning for future regional workshops during the ICANN Los Angeles meeting held in Los Angeles, CA, USA
  • November 5-9: José Domínguez and Carlos Vicente organized and taught a Network Management Workshop at the WALC 2007 event held in Coro, Estado Falcón, Venezuela
  • November 26-29: Hervey Allen and Phil Regnauld taught and organized an Advanced ccTLD Workshop held in Amman, Jordan
  • December 4-7: Steven Huter attended the 70th IETF in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
