DESCRIPTION:The next CI Eng Lunch & Learn talk will occur June 27th\, 2025.
   The speakers will be Mohammad Firas Sada and Elham  Khoda from SDSC will 
 be talking about\n"Introduction to the National Research Platform".  \n\nA 
 short abstract follows:\n\nThis session introduces the National  Research P
 latform (NRP)\, a distributed cyberinfrastructure designed to support data-
 intensive and experimental research. Built as the Nautilus Kubernetes \nclu
 ster\, NRP spans multiple institutions and provides access to a broad range
  of computing resources\, including CPUs\,  FPGAs\, SmartNICs\, and other n
 ovel \ncompute architectures. Participants will gain an overview of  NRP's 
 capabilities and services\, including interactive computing environments (J
 upyterHub\, Coder)\, virtualization via \nKubeVirt\, persistent storage\, a
 nd access to high-speed research networks. The talk will explain how access
  is managed  through federated identity and resource allocations\, and how 
 users can \nrequest compute and storage for projects. We will also describe
  how institutions can participate by contributing hardware or integrating t
 heir local clusters into the larger platform\, and  what \nsupport exists f
 or onboarding new sites.\n\n\nN.B. The Zoom number for 2025 remains  the sa
