DESCRIPTION:The African Top Level Domains Association (AfTLD)\, the associa
 tion of African ccTLDs\, announces its annual African ccTLD event for 2009.
  The event will be held in Arusha\, Tanzania from 13 - 17 April 2009\, and 
 will include the AfTLD Annual General Meeting (AGM). The event is generousl
 y hosted by the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) and the
  Tanzania Network Information Centre (.tzNIC).\n\nAptly themed “Securing Af
 rica’s Internet Infrastructure”\, the event includes a dedicated 3 day trai
 ning workshop on Attack/Disaster Contingency and Recovery Planning (A/DCRP)
 . AfTLD hereby invites interested parties to attend\, including:\n\n    * c
 cTLD organizations from Africa and elsewhere\n    * Telecommunications firm
 s\n    * Internet service providers (ISPs)\n    * Governments\n    * ICT ag
 encies\n    * Any other interested persons and firms\n\nThrough the worksho
 ps\, AfTLD intends to contribute to the process of developing and enhancing
  secure and robust national Internet infrastructure and services in Africa.
  Presenters will include leading figures in the consolidation and enhanced 
 security of ICT infrastructure against rapidly increasing Internet security
  threats.\n\nThe event will also include a workshop on AfTLD’s African Disp
 ute Resolution Process\, which AfTLD intends to provide for African ccTLDs 
 from 2009\, and will also include an update in AfTLD’s research and capacit
