Each system has an IP address although the IP addresses are not public and only accessible through Web-Sat's network. We have full Internet Access including WWW surfing, email, newsgroups etc. The prices are relatively high at the moment but are coming down all the time. The system itself costs about $2200 and each MB of data transfer costs $0.80. Prices were almost double this amount last year. We hope they will further decrease as the cost is the main obstacle for people to acquire them. Currently there are no better alternatives here in Kurdistan mainly because of UN sanctions on Iraq.
