Since there are now two international providers Internet bandwidth is less expensive too. Prices for dial-up lines (E1) have dropped too, mainly because SITTEL (Superintendencia de Telecomuniciaciones - www.sittel.gov.bo) has imposed lower prices, but they still very expensive if compared to other countries in our region. Small ISP's aren't able to provide broadband services because the Telco's that usually are also ISP's doesn't want to rent leased lines to provide the services and it's nothing easy to get a license to provide wireless service. Entelnet had to make a partnership with a wireless cable TV company in order to provide the wi-fi service. I hope this information is helpful.
