Its no problem at all for me to pick it up from your gopher server. If everyone on Mango pays their bill we cover the cost of our calls with a little left over. To give you an idea of how little is required to run a Fido node here, we charge Z$25.00 for installation and training, Z$10.00 per month subscription, $Z0.10 for the first kilobyte and Z$0.02 for each additional kilobyte per message, where Z$1.00 is approx US$0.12 and falling. Of course this is only possible because the sysop and treasurer are voluntary. We have 170 users which is way way too many for a single phone line, but we may be able to get additional lines soon as the PTT is upgrading the system to digital exchanges which will expand capacity.
