This is serving the whole country. The 128k link goes to a Cisco 7000 router and from there distributed. >2) A brief technical description of the equipment/platform you are using >for your servers, routers, etc. We have two Sun Sparc20 workstation, where one is the nameserver and the other is acting as the mail, web and news server. The machines are running Solaris 2.3 and 2.4 respectively. Our router is a cisco 7000 that has two 64k connections. One of the 64k connection is going to the University college of Belize and the other is to the government of Belize. The dialup connection are 28.8k connections but by mid February we should have a new set of US Robotics modems that will support 33.6k connections. 3) Information about your pricing/costs We are offering two types dialup service, one is for full internet service and the other is for email only. The cost of a 64kb link varies depending on the location within the country of Belize. Full internet Email 64K connection Installation US 15.00 US 10.00 US 500.00 --> Montly fee US 30.00 US 10.00 US 500.00 --> For the Full Internet the first ten hours are free, then the next ten hours are US 4.00 and all hours after that is US 2.00. The email account gives the first five hour free(connection time) and US 2.00 an hour after that. All calls to the Internet are toll free so there is no phone charges. The 64k connection charges have not been officially set as yet so I dont have a better pricing for those.
