Thanks for your message; I'm happy to let the world know what's going on here at UCB. We have a dial-up uucp electronic mail link to the University of Puerto Rico, as part of the CUNet project (Caribbean Universities Network) coordinated by the Organisation of American States. We have been polling regularly since 4 Nov 93. Current software is Waffle 1.65 running under DOS. At the moment only UCB has access. However, I am in the process of setting us up as a dial-in uucp node, so that we can relay E-mail on behalf of other sites; this should be up and running soon, and there are a number of other organisations which have expressed interest in getting connected. As we progress, I intend to upgrade to Unix. I'm also attempting to get us a full Internet connection, although success is by no means guaranteed!
