From: Junior Crawford <junior@cast.edu.jm> To: Steven Huter <sghuter@nsrc.org> Date: Thu, 29 Aug 1996 15:00:06 -0400 (EDT) Hello Steven, For your information: I will start with info on University of Technology (UTECH) formerly CAST, what we have here is a SUN SPARCclassic runnnig SunOS 4.1.3, which is connected to a cisco 2500 router, this router is link to University of W.I Mona via a DSU 64Kbps modem. UWIMona have the same except that they are using a cisco AGS/4 router. UWIMona is in turn link to our local telephone company via a 64kbps Baseband modem. The local telephone company connected to Sprint(USA) via a 64kbps satellite link. I am not too certain on which SP, but I know we were using NSFNET. I will clear that up later, and also interms of traffic I will try and gather some data for you. We have an Ethernet backbone at CAST and UWIMona is using FDDI which is connected to their Convex Supercomputer.
