From: Saul Hahn Date: Wed, 8 Sep 1993 16:35:06 -0400 In the Caribbean there is a networking project called Caribbean University Network (CUNET), currently managed by the Organization of American States (OAS), the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), CRACIN and the Member Institutions. It is a store and forward UUCP based system, using the computer at UPR as a hub with nodes in several of the countries. This allows e-mail access to the Internet an other networks. Current operational Country Nodes are in: Barbados, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago. Nodes in other countries are in a testing stage and will be operational soon.
