Equipment discussion:
if we have 25 partipants, what about:
- 13 Seeeduino Stalker
- 13 Arduino WiFi? Shield (good documentation)
- 3 GSM modules (GPRSbee)
- 13 Grove kits with different sensors (kit from Seeedstudio)
- 3 Iridium satellite shield JB what product are we planning to use? I would like to get/use one ahead of the workshop.
SB:
- are we covering BT in Labs? if so, it might be good to add 13 x JY-MCU Bluetooth Wireless Serial Port Module for Arduino ... but it might be too much in too little time?
- re: Stalker - the kits incl. pv & battery? i d suggest that.
- if we are partly focusing on air pollution and water measurements, should we add the relevant sensors? They are not part of the grove kit ( http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/Grove-Starter-Kit-for-Arduino-p-1855.html ). Out of the full list http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page#Grove , i d suggest e.g.
Topical background:
JB: Steve has asked us to include some details from NSF in our discussions of applications, pointing at these links:
