DNS/DNSSEC Workshop

Synopsis
This is a technical workshop, made of up lecture and hands-on lab work to teach DNS and DNS Security Extensions targeted at operators who are responsible for the DNS services in their organization.

- Reverse DNS

- Split DNS

- DNS security extensions (DNSSEC)
- DNS and IPv6
Pre-requisites
- Medium to good knowledge of the UNIX/Linux command line environment
- Basic understanding of DNS (this course is not an introduction)
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING A LAPTOP
Recommended Software
- PuTTY (Standalone SSH Software for Windows)
- Linux/UNIX and Mac OS already have SSH installed. DO NOT USE PUTTY FOR LINUX OR MAC!
