December
Dec 9-13 NSRC staff will attend the Internet2 TechEx meeting in Boston, Massachusetts, supporting NSRC/Internet2 Fellows from African Research and Education Network groups.

Nov 20-21
NSRC's staff and contractors will participate in LINX 123. Philip Smith will present IXPs and Developments in Networking.
Nov 18-22
NSRC will support the 2024 SCinet Research Exposition and Oregon Booth during SC24.
Nov 18-20
Brian Candler, Dale Smith Patrick Okui, Sebastian Büttrich and Anna Saine will lead the Campus Network Design and Operations Workshop at the University of the Gambia and will provide Direct Engineering Assitance.

NSRC will teach a Network Monitoring and Management Workshop at WALC 2024 which will be offered online.
Nov 6-7
Philip Smith from NSRC will present a RouteViews Update during the Peering Asia 6.0 event taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Oct 25-Nov 8 NSRC staff Hans Kuhn will support network and NOC setup at IETF 121 that will be hosted in Dublin, Ireland from November 2-8, as well as attending IETF working groups.

NSRC personnel will attend the NANOG92. Philip Smith will give a tutorial on
BGP Techniques for Network . He will also give a
Routeviews Update presentation during the event.

Sep 30- Oct 4
During mnNOG 6, NSRC will run a
Campus Network Design and Operations Workshop . Philip Smith and Philip Paeps will be the instructors at the workshop and give talks during the opening ceremony of the event.

NSRC/RouteViews will participate in SgNOG 11. Philip Smith will give an update The RouteViews project.
Sep 20 NSRC assist in leading a Technical Trainer Webinar with the
Coalition for Digital Africa, the Africa Top Level Domain Organization (AfTLD) and ICANN).

During AfNOG 2024, NSRC will conduct a two-day
Network Monitoring and Management Tutorial online using our virtual training platform. Seun Ojedeji, Hervey Allen, Cleven Mmari, Timothy Ola Akinfenwa will teach the tutorial.
August
Aug 12-18 NSRC and GARNET will teach a 4-day Campus Network Design and Operations Workshop. NSRC will deliver Direct Engineering Assistance to the Regional Maritime University .
Aug 4-16
NSRC will participate in btNOG 11 and will conduct a Campus Network Design and Operations Workshop and giving some presentations during the event. Tashi Phuntsho will give an Opening International Keynote about "The journey of an accidental Enterprise Architect". Brian Candler will give an "IPv6 Mostly at the edge" presentation. Philip Smith will speak about "RouteViews and Routing in Bhutan". NSRC will provide a 4-day DEA for the
Royal University of Bhutan and the Gov Tech Agency, Royal Government of Bhutan.
July
Jul 15-19 NSRC trainers and partners Alain Aina, Patrick Okui and Simon Balthazar will explore AfTLD ccTLD Capacity Building with KENIC: Technical Track. The event will be hosted by AFRALTI.
Jul 13-26 Hans Kuhn of the NSRC will support IETF 120's
network buildout. He will also participate in the 6man (IPv6 Maintenance), grow (Global Routing Systems), and dnsops (Domain Name Systems Operations) working groups during the meeting.
Jul 8-12 Philip Smith of NSRC will give a Keynote Speaker Talk about the Internet evolution from a technical perspective in the Philippines, and will give a RouteViews presentation during the PhNOG 2024 (30 years of Philippine Internet) event to take place in Manila, Philippines.

Jun 29 Philip Smith of the NSRC will carry out Direct Engineering Assistance to the University of Guam.

NSRC Trainers Philip Smith and Jose Santiago, alongside Jeremy Santos of PTI Pacifica will teach a Routing Infrastructure and Security Operations workshop as part of PacNOG33 in Guam.
Jun 10-11 Steve Huter of the NSRC will participate in the Pacific Islands Higher Education Summit, that will be hosted at University of Hawaii by President David Lassner.

May 26-29
NSRC will teach a Routing Infrastructure & Security Operations Workshop. Phil Smith, Jose Santiago and Tashi Phuntsho of the NSRC will co-teach the workshop that will be held prior to the
BKNIX Peering Forum 2024. During the event NSRC will give presentations as well. Tashi Phuntsho will give a Securing Internet Routing: The Puzzle Pieces presentation and Philip Smith a The Internet Routing Table: Using RouteViews presentation.
May 23-25 NSRC organized a site visit to The University of The Gambia . Anna Secka Saine and Patrick Okui from NSRC will go for the visit.

NSRC will conduct a Network Management and Monitoring Workshop for
KENET.

Feb 21-23 Hervey Allen, Carlos Armas, Brian Candler, Bob Rotsted of the NSRC will conduct a 3-day Practical Virtualisation with Hybrid Strategies Workshop during APRICOT 2024 . Brian Candler will give a presentation (IPv-only Network Report) on March 1st during the Closing Plenary.

Jan 29-Feb 2 NSRC will participate in APAN 57 that will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Jan 19-20 Hervey Allen from the NSRC will give a presentation on NSRC and Asia Pacific during TPRE 2024.
Jan 15-20 NSRC in conjunction with the Philippine Research, Education, and Government Information Network PREGINET organized a Campus Network Design and Operations Workshop at the College of Computer Science, Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges CSPC in San Miguel, Nabua, Camarines Sur, Philippines. The workshop will be followed by two days of Direct Engineering Assistance at CSPC.
